The
Securing Programme
Protecting your
network is becoming more important every day, and getting harder as the
methods of attack become more sophisticated. Our network security
service works by putting one of our security devices on your premises,
just where the Internet comes into the building, and then monitoring it
for any threats that may be directed towards you. The service includes:

Supply and
installation of firewall – we’ll come in and set up an industry
standard firewall between your network and the Internet.

Full
monitoring, management and support – we’ll keep a constant eye
on what’s happening on that firewall, and respond to any threats
that emerge.

Replacement
if hardware fails – since the firewall is ours, you don’t have
to worry if it goes wrong. We’ll simply come in and put another in
its place.

Standard
content filtering – If you wish, you’ll be able to block certain
content, such as porn or gambling sites, and prevent anyone on your
network from using them.

Gateway
anti-virus and anti-spyware – as extra defence over and above
the software installed on all your machines, anything passing
between your network and the Internet will be check to see if it
contains viruses or spyware, and any spyware that does manage to
install itself somewhere on your network will be prevented from
contacting anyone outside your network. It's like having
Cyber-bouncers at your network's front door.

Intrusion
detection – if anyone tries to break into your network, we’ll
know about it and we’ll stop it.

Optional
wireless capability – if you wish, we can provide hyper-secure
wireless access to your network for a small additional fee.

Optional
secure remote users – if you wish, we can provide secure access
to your network from people working outside, such as at home or when
they’re on the road.

Optional
premium content filtering – if you’d like even finer control
over the websites you’ll allow people to view, we can provide a
premium content filtering service.

Serves
networks up to 25 users – the basic service assumes a network
smaller than 25 machines, but an additional fee will allow you to
exceed that limit.
SecurING, like all of
our services, is available via a fixed monthly fee, calculated as
follows:

£65 per month
buys you the firewall, security scanning and monitoring

Additional £5 per
month for wireless capability

Additional £10
per month for every five remote users
-
Additional £150
per month for premium content filtering
-
Additional £30
per month for networks larger than 25 users.
Conditions:

Minimum contract
of one year

Firewall remains
property of ing, but can be purchased if contract terminated
-
Discount/part-exchange if suitable firewall already in place.
